One question, have you found another method to make it from Windows ?!
You can do in DVD installer:
In Utilities, you’ll see (after you done the things of the first video) the Chameleon installer!!
You’ll put there the BSD of your USB drive (e.g. disk2s1, you put first 2, yes and after you put 1 and Chameleon has installed!)

You can install a virtual machine with osx on it. Try using virtualbox!
